This comes a bit late, but I have run
The Christmas Marathon (Half marathon category) and I had a lot of fun. Yes, it was cold, yes I haven't run a great race and my time sucked (mainly because of the insane hills between mile 5 and 6); but it was still fun. The candy cane award was great. I wasn't really thrilled about my bag grab gift, but it made a friend of mine really happy, so it worked out.
A local news crew was there to
film the start.
You might be pleased to learn the group behind this event will organize more races under the title:
The Holiday Marathons. In fact they already did a New Year's Day Marathon on January 1st. All the races will be free. Hope to see you there next time.
