East River Esplanade

My weekday running route looks more like an obstacle course these days. The East River Esplanade is still closed from 78th Street to 80th, which means you can't pass to Carl Schurz Park without taking it to the streets. This was supposed to open on Aug 13th, but it didn't. There is no information about the new estimated time.

And now there is another section blocked between the Rockefeller University and Hospital for Special Surgery. This is not a complete block, a narrow passage is open. So, you can still continue northward, but there is usually heavy traffic.

I guess I should run to the Park during the week too.
