Aaah to be one of the unlucky again! I don't know what my chances were, but when they announced that about 90000 people were in the lottery I actually had a moment of hope. To be quashed only minutes later. "Sorry, you are not selected".
I am, of course, talking about the 2011 NYC Marathon. Congratulations to those who are in. I will join you in 2012, with my 9+1 guaranteed entry, hopefully. Until then my target is the Knickerbocker 60K.
My left knee was worrying me a bit, but after my first run in my new shoes I don't feel any pain. So, here comes the training!
